Fun at Home!!!

What do you do when gas is nearing $4 a gallon?  Have fun at home! :)

It has been sooooo warm lately, it's such crazy weather for Indiana.  But I'm not complaining!!!
Today we had a fun-filled day at home (after a trip to walmart).

sidewalk chalk and sudsy water works wonders in keeping my toddler occupied

In other news we will be closing on our new home on May 1st.  We are soooooo excited.  We will no longer have to play on a small balcony, but a very nice yard with a view.
Here are some pictures of our new backyard.

This morning I went to Indy Kids Consignment and got some great deals!!!
here's the link...http://www.indykidssale.com/ there is another one in September!
I spent $52 and came away with:
4 pairs of shoes
2 bows :)
1 dress
1 bathing suit
5 summer outfits for Tynnley
1 fall jacket for Tynnley
2 summer outfits for Warrick
1 dump truck and 4 little hand-held video games for Warrick

Here are my favorites:
possible Easter outfit

I about died when I saw this!

shoes!  The girl shoes are size 1, 2, and 3 ... I had no idea what Tynnley wears since she's never in shoes.  But they were each only $1 so I thought it wasn't a big deal if they weren't the right size.

We've Been Ransacked!

When I was in 5th grade, I had a friend who lived a block away and I would frequently walk to her house.  I went to visit her one day and took another friend with me.  We got to her house and the garage door was open and her house was unlocked.  So we decided to enter her house... not sure why we thought this was a good idea.  When we got inside, there were clothes everywhere and almost every drawer was open.  We got our parents who came and we all decided this family must have been ransacked.  Our parents called the police who quickly arrived.  Not long after the police had arrived, the family returned home and were completely humiliated.  Apparently, they weren't ransacked, just completely messy people.

Now whenever I leave our apartment, I try to leave it halfway presentable (although, this hasn't been the case lately). And this story always runs across my mind... that if someone were to come into our apartment today, they may believe we were ransacked.

So, today I am going to tackle this ransacked apartment... and I'm sure it will be clean all of 20 minutes.  :)
